Trained in fashion design in Montreal, Erica worked as a seamstress for theatre and later as a sewing teacher. After becoming a mother, she discovered children’s attachment to their fabric objects, a realization that guided her work. In 2005, she launched Raplapla and created Églantine, her first cloth companion.

Inspired by the Saint Lawrence River, the brand developed an innovative and local extraction method designed to reduce environmental impact. Sel Saint Laurent celebrates the purity of its origin and local know-how by transforming river water into artisanal-quality salt.
